Hidden in the bushes near the hotel, This is far and away the most difficult puzzle yet! It had me thinking for a good 10 minutes.
I think the key is to work out the first 3 tiles underneath the starting tile.
I don't think there's any easy way of doing this, other than just trial and error. You have to work out the possibilities for each space.
The only way to go about this is to try out each piece in turn. To proceed most effectively, try to find a starting piece with an unusual feature and work out how the others connect to that.
You may be tempted to only look at the roads, but you will find that there are too many choices.
Pay careful attention to the top edge of the piece that is already placed. There is no road leading away. What does the piece that connects there look like?
Place the piece with the lake on the left end of the map. Rotate it so that no road runs through the side that connects with the starting piece in the finished cube.
You know that there is one unused piece. It's the piece that has just on tree and roads on all four sides.
Use the remaining pieces to finish your map of this cubical planet.
